Devon Grandy
BIOGRAPHY
Devon Grandy is a writer, humorist, and musician. As the founder and co-editor of Break Out The Oreos, the writing here represents his first foray into open-ended and regular blogging.
Born in Summit, New Jersey and raised in Hawaii, Devon graduated from Punahou School and quickly left the tropics for New York City. He is a second-year undergraduate at Columbia University, where he is currently demonstrating remarkable indecision in choosing his major.
On campus, Devon is a card-carrying member of the Columbia University Marching Band (which oddly enough doesn’t issue membership cards). Devon’s other activities in New York include performing with the Columbia jazz ensembles, frequenting the Hamilton Deli, watching the Bronx Bombers from the cheap seats, and attempting to write like Aaron Sorkin.
As far as sports go, Devon bleeds Yankee blue, roots for the Fighting Irish, follows the Giants, and doesn’t particularly care about professional basketball. We could list which teams he doesn’t like, but that would be a list of an entirely different nature.
